Best Hotel in Llandudno

Best Hotel in Llandudno , great checkin / check out , great room and nothing was too much trouble. Sea View was fantastice , with a plus of a box of chocolates in the room , thanks everyone , see you next year for the next Snooker tournament

Great hotel Great location

The hotel is in a prime location, overlooking Llandudno bay and comfortable walking distance to all the attractions. The staff are attentive, friendly and professional. All the meals we had in the hotel we enjoyed. It was lovely to have a great evening meal with a wonderful view.

There’s limited parking spaces. If the car park is full there’s an option to drop your luggage off & take advantage of nearby roadside parking.

Upgraded room was a pleasant surprise Parking space in hotel car park ( wasn't expecting one to be available) Modern, comfortable bedroom Polite staff Excellent service by the breakfast team- very attentive, friendly and helpful It was a lovely night away and we'll definitely be back

Bedroom was very warm - despite opening window and fiddling with Aircon. Hotflushes for women of a certain age made sleep challenging for my better half Zero shower cream in dispenser ( luckily we brought some with us) No brown sauce at breakfast

What was the highlight of St George's Hotel

Winter break in Llandudno.

The ambience of the hotel, which is in an excellent position. The timeless elegance of this large victorian hotel is as expected. Our bed was very comfortable and we slept well. The staff are friendly and helpful. We are an elderly couple and were well looked by all members of the staff, no matter what there jobs. The afternoon tea had a nice variety of food. Our evening meal was nicely served and very tasty. Thank you for looking after us. We hope to visit again.

The decor we felt was a bit drab. The lounge area of our suite was dark and devoid of character and colour. The large cupboard, in a dark wood, added nothing to the room. The long curtains covered the radiator when drawn preventing the room getting warm. (Not good in winter.) The bedroom area had no electric outlet near the beverage tray which was keep in a large cupboard. so we had to use the dressing table, which had sockets near by, to boil the kettle. This made a difficulty using the dressing table.

Old-school seaside glamour and comfort

Location is fantastic and the staff were all great. The hotel feels very grand - wonderful high ceilings and chandeliers - and is really well maintained.

Parking is very limited (although on street parking is affordable) and the bar area is a little cramped

Excellent

I had breakfast and evening meal in the restaurant. I was travelling alone and found the staff in particular the gentleman in the evening who served me both nights to be friendly and made every effort to ensure I had everything I needed. He recommend the meals I ate on both nights and the food was excellent as were his recommendations. Breakfast was equally as lovely and the staff were again excellent. I was so impressed I have booked again to bring my parents for Mothers day.

What was the highlight of St George's Hotel

Staff were very friendly and attentive. Aircon in room was much needed with recent humidity, it made a big difference. The food was great, we had the dinner and breakfast in the hotel. Car parking was fine, albeit we did have to park on the street a couple of times...moving the car into the hotel car park just after breakfast wasn't a hardship. Not an issue, however if you need more plug sockets - as you do when travelling with kids and their technology - take a four plug extension with you!

Couldn't find fault.

Small bed/bathroom. No separate shower. Wedding party noisy all night :(. View of the hotel kitchen from the bed window ( smells ) Should have been told about the wedding sooner than the day before arrival as would have cancelled

This is a superb hotel in a magnificent location on the Promenade. The public rooms are very well maintained, the bedroom was comfortable with very pleasing ensuite facilities. The housekeeping was superb, yet un-intrusive - faultless in every detail. Breakfast is taken in the splendid Wedgewood suite - a superb selection - with cooked items freshly prepared. The restaurant is first-class, the choice extensive and the food beautifully presented. All staff at this hotel are super-friendly and can't do enough to help! Worth every penny of anyone's money!

It's very difficult to find any fault at all - however, mobile phone reception was really very poor!

We love coming back to this hotel. Excellent service, staff and rooms. We always look forward to the fantastic St George's breakfast too!

This is a traditional hotel with very good facilities and standards. Our room was very comfortable, the bathroom large, clean and well equipped.

What was the highlight of St George's Hotel

First and foremost, the staff are wonderfully helpful and friendly and very used to elderly customers (if you are taking an older relative). The dinner menu is a notch above most hotels and the breakfast room is marvellous.

What a pity there is no outdoor terrace for drinks on a summer's day. Hotel parking is not guaranteed and, as regular visitors to the town know, can be a nightmare in high season in surrounding streets.

Good position on sea front Convenient for Llandudno.

Bedding was plucked and had holes in. Bed not tucked in so mattress was showing. Tea and coffee facilities in room were poor only 3 small UHT milk for the 2 of us . Tv took ages to warm up. View from window was a flat roof. Ordered pork loin for dinner it was overdone and tough. One carrot and one small piece of broccoli on plate. Desert was eton mess. Looked like 2 shop bought meringues on a plate with a blob of cream and some fruit. I received a tiny cooked breeeakfast but my husband was given twice as much. Put my fork down to have a drink of coffee and the waitress whisked my plate away before I'd finished eating. When I told her she did offer to give it me back but I didn't fancy it after she'd been handling my plate. I'd booked the trip for my 50th birthday. I booked the St George because I'd always thought it looked lovely when passing. Bit disappointing really.
